Symposium Theme: Montessori Interrelatedness

The fundamental Montessori concept of interrelatedness was explored in a day-long dialogue. Following a keynote address by David Kahn entitled, "Montessori Interrelatedness Across the Planes of Development" (see below for audio), three panel sessions focused on key concepts:

  • Whole School Montessori
  • Indoor/Outdoor Relatedness Across the First, Second, and Third Planes of Development
  • Unifying the Mission of a Montessori School

For over 40 years David has served as the Executive Director of NAMTA. As a teacher, administrator, writer, and consultant, his work has profoundly influenced the development of Montessori adolescent programs worldwide.
